March 11th-13th is the “Kaleidoscope of the Arts” annual district art exhibit that spotlights young artists from across HCS at the Hood Street Art Center. An evening reception will be held on 3/12 where families can come to view the exhibit.
Saturday, March 15th is the World Languages Fair from 8:30-1:30 at the Academy for Advanced Studies. This FREE event includes a talent show, art, poetry, a Culture Bowl, and 3v3 mini-world cup soccer.
Friday, March 21st is the Spring Dance. The PTO will be hosting the dance for our students immediately after school. Information from the PTO will be coming home in Thursday folders on 2/27.
Saturday, March 22nd is ArtsFest in Henry County. This FREE family event will include art, drama, and music throughout the day. More information from the district will be coming our way soon.
Tuesday, March 25th is our annual Fine Arts Night. This FREE event will include a performance by our Honor Choir, an art show that includes artwork from EVERY student in the building, and family dance lessons!
Saturday, March 29th is STEAM Fest! This is a FREE, hands-on festival for 4th & 5th graders and their families featuring STEAM activities, creative challenges, and engaging science shows. It is being held at Heritage Park from 10:00-2:00.
Tuesday, April 22nd is our Rising Kindergarten Night. Come and meet the kindergarten team and take home some valuable information and activities to help prepare your child for school.
Field Days: (K & 1st grade- May 7th), (2nd & 3rd grades- May 8th), and (4th & 5th grades- May 9th)
Madagascar, the musical will be performed in the evenings of May 14th and May 15th.
End of Year Parties & Ceremonies: In May, each grade level holds an End of the Year party for their students and families during the school day to celebrate the end of a fantastic school year. Additionally, 3rd-5th grade teachers host awards ceremonies to celebrate the many achievements of their students.
