Too sick for school?

Is Your Child Too Sick To Come To School?
 
Your child should stay home from school only if necessary. The main reasons for your child to stay home are:
  • if he might be contagious to others
  • if he is too sick to be comfortable at school or to concentrate
As a rule, a child should not come to school if there is:
  • vomiting more than once in the past 24 hours
  • a fever of 100.0 or greater in the past 24 hours
  • diarrhea
  • a widespread rash
  • persistent pain
  • very frequent cough
